Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Very analytical, sharp and decisive, she's thorough in her work and may come off as dispassionate at times, some may put that down to 'oh she's part Vulcan she suppresses her emotions' in truth V'Lar doesn't do so routinely however she can when needed. She doesn't (thanks to her Romulan side) undergo the Pon'farr, but she does possess the telepathy and capabilities of her Vulcan heritage. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Her expertise and knowledge covers a wide range of areas, her specialism is in surgical tactical operations, getting what's needed and getting out with little to no fingerprints of ever having been there. She's done plenty of things that might be viewed as questionable some of which haunt her. | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Spending time on the holodeck with her adopted daughter |
| Personal History | In another life V'Lar's birth could have been celebrated as something game changing, the daughter of one of Romulus's last Senators and a Starfleet Officer, the potential to bridge a gap or two was there but sadly Romulus wasn't and so her path in life has been viewed by those who know what she is with a level of scepticism. With the Federation's shift to a more inward focused mentality post 2386, V'Lar stood out even more at a young age. The Academy was a rough time in her life, due to the post 2386 shift the diversity of cadets in terms of species had somewhat reduced greatly so she was viewed as one of the outsiders. It was therefore perhaps inevitable that the very thing disliked about her would become her strongest asset, she was headhunted by Starfleet Intelligence and put on a team that operated in both current and former Romulan territory with one goal to cause as much trouble as possible, this involved multiple classified operations. In 2438 she was reassigned with her team to the USS Arcadia and later Starbase Obsidian. |
