Personal History Born and raised on Deep Space Nine, Hannah's nerdiness was known from a young age - her somewhat ambitious bio-neural gel pack powered science fair volcano habitat featuring her then pet hamster dressed as a dinosaur is legendary on that station. She achieved several of her qualifications during her time at Starfleet Academy. Many expected her to end up at the Daystrom Institute or perhaps teach at the academy but that wasn't what she wanted, she wanted to be out among the stars solving the mysteries of the cosmos. She ended up being headhunted for her computing ability and posted at Ghost Station, along with her sister.

It was during the Zaj incident that she accomplished that which she will likely be remembered most for - stabilising the Omega Particle, achieving a scientific holy grail in blatant violation of Starfleet Protocols. It was no surprise she got court martialled. She lost her commission and joined her sister on relief supply runs until her expertise as an anthropologist saw her requested to consult on something which brought them to Starbase Obsidian where she regained her rank and position.
