| Personal History | Her parents were officers aboard the USS Trafalgar, a Gagarin class starship that was on patrol in what used to be the Romulan neutral zone, like most children on a starship Ruby developed a curiosity about how the ship worked, what it did and so on. However the ship was attacked by a Romulan warbird and left as a wreck, Ruby is believed to be the sole survivor and only did so by hiding in a jefferies tube close to the warp core to mask her bio-sign. She was rescued by a Starfleet Intelligence team led by the then Ensign V'Lar and was then raised for a few years by the ensign's parents on Vulcan. When V'Lar was posted on more routine duties Ruby was able to rejoin her and now lives with her aboard Starbase Obsidian. Ruby has begun her pre-academy studies and is on duty rotation between departments. |
